13th Waffen SS “Handschar” Division

ASSALAMUALAIKUM,

Today, when i look into a forum section of a website, i came across a discussion with the same title as the title of this posting… It has WW2 word on it and sounds interesting. Quickly, i were prompted to open the discussion board and for a moment i was a little bit of surprised as the topic discussed was about a division of Nazi army composed of mainly moslem that was fighting against the Russians at Balkan frontline.

What? The moslem men were fighting for Nazi…Beside that i also found out that the then grand mufti of Jerusalem,  Haji Amin Al-Husseini was the person responsible for the recruitment …hurm, there is something weird here.

As a muslim i oppose any form of violence…but after looking at the facts laid in the discussion board my stance to tremble and started to wander if there was any connection between the moslem and the Nazi.

I began to key in keywords that has connection with the division and start looking for information…After a few search and reading I found out that there is indeed a relation between moslem and the nazi… But, not in term of helping the nazi to wipe out  people. Furthermore, the division had nothing to do with the jewish extermination… However, Haji Amin Al-Husseini did in fact recruit moslem men to join the newly formed division…however, he had to resort to this alternative. The main reason is because during that time both moslem and Nazi had the same enemy, the British.

After World War 1, under the British mandate orchestrated by the zionist lobbyist, Jews were able to occupy some part of the Palestine. So, the mufti thought that by forming a division of moslem army at that time he could prevent the jewish population, which started to increasing, from proliferate and occupy the whole middle east. But at the time, the Ottoman empire had long been dissolved. So, the mufti chose the other way to equip a soon-to-be-formed divison by performing a strategic partnership with a resourceful and strong army which turn out to be the Nazi.

There are some questions rise from this matter.

1. Can moslem formed an alliance with the Nazi to fight against the zionist?
2. Isn’t the formation of this moslem-based division contradicts the anti-semitism view of the Nazi?
3. What is exactly the objective of the formation of this division?

Hurm…suddenly i became inspired and decided to make a reserach on this matter…So, hopefully i could finish by next week and resolve all the question.

My holiday program…

ASSALAMUALAIKUM…

Greeeting to all my friends around malaysia…it’s been a while since i last wrote…Well i’ve been busy lately, so i don’t have any surplus time to spend and write my thought…But i like being busy, it just keep my mind preoccupied and fill all the blanks in my schedule. Otherwise, i’ll turn into a sloth, laying lazily and become bored.

Even watching TV can’t overcome the boredom as everytime i tune over the channel, what i saw was people singing, singing and singing…and singing…Gradually, I become sick of my own local channel.

Alternatively, I turn into a pile of my brother’s  DVD collection looking for an interesting movie. I stumbled upon a DVD entitled ‘October Sky’ and decided to watch it……

How remarkable the movie was……It is a story about a boy who inspired to make his own rocket after watching the launch of the infamous sputnik, the first human made thing that had orbitted our earth…(for more detailed synopsis, wikipedia is always the best place to refer to)…as i click the stop button and retrieve the DVD back to its case, i wondered.

Then, after passing some time wandering, i got some conclusions from the movie that i’ve watched and from my observation of my surroundings.

conclusion no.1- You feed the youngsters with footages of people achievements, e.g launching of the first satellite to the orbit, they’ll become inspired and will soon try to emulate or improve the feats (that’s what the westerners are doing)

conclusion no.2- You feed the youngster with singing competitions, e.g Mawi idol, Akademi Fantasi Belaka or Gang Sterz then most of them will be inspired to become entertainers ( Sadly, that’s what our country is now doing)

conclusion no.3- You feed the youngster with love stories, e.g winter soon-tada you are inspiring them to get involve in puppy love which is worthless and totally wasting time.

So, no wonder why they ( you know who) are far ahead in front of us in term of technology because they feed their youth with outstanding human achievements or something to do with science. Just look at their discovery channel and see how many interesting scince programs inside. All these programs have become a source of inspiration to their youngsters from which they draw and become a boost for them to excel in science and propel their country to the peak of technology.

I don’t want to belittle our own ‘educational’ programs like Al-kuliyyah etc, but, if just ‘melepas batuk di tangga’ better not to show it at all……….
