The Funniest Definition of Normal…

Who can define normal…? it’s simple isn’t it. everything that goes along with the common sense can be categorized as normal thing. But, how about if someone is saying a thing is not normal even though what he is saying is obviously against what a normal person defines and see is normal…

Take for example. Pal is having a pie and then suddenly Brits come by and snatch the pie from Pal…Brits then gives the pie away to someone else let say, Joewy…While Pal is still wondering what’s going on, he demands his pie back from Joewy. However, Joewy doesn’t want to give the pie insisting that the pie is now his. Pal is fuming and tell Joewy that the pie was snatched from him by Brits. Joewy refuses to believe in Pal so Pal doesn’t has any choice but to confront Joewy. As Pal is about to put his fist on Joewy’s face, Sam, Joewy’s best friend and the big bully of the school, come and holds Pal’s hand…Pal, though apprehended and know Sam won’t believe in him, still trying to tell the true picture to Sam. In the end Pal found himself lying in excruciating pain but not without Sam saying that what Brits done is correct and the pie now is belong to Joewy. (erm…as an addition- Pal do have friends but they are motionless. Reasons? Don’t know why…)

Sorry for the long example, but for a clarified situation i hope no one would mind…So, back to the question. Is the situation above acceptable? And for Sam is it normal for saying that it is okay to snatch something which is not belong to you? Yes,i can understand that anyone could come out with any theory or explanation but a healthy, fully unretarded person will at least agree that the pie is rightly belong to Pal.

In the essence that’s what happening now in this world right in front of our eyes. Those who have the power will use up all the resorces accessible to them to achieve their lustuos greedy ambition relentlessly…including taking out innocent lives. To hold a fight against them is near to impossible as this kind of people have everyone high in ranks under their dirty belt. But, sooner or hopefully not too later the truth or good will prevail over the bad ones. The time will surely come but only if we believe in that and make some contributions in shedding some light to the path that leads to it…

Stay on track…

It has been two years since I took SPM and it’s also has been the almost same amount of time that i spend studying A-Level in INTEC…i’m very grateful coz i’ve got the offer to become a gov’t scholar n study overseas. Since the past 2 years also, everyday i can’t stop dreaming of strolling around a medevial city and taking pictures with its historical buildings as the background…But, recently for the last 3 months things are getting tougher…I’m quite nervous as i were told that the offer came with a catch…and one of it is that i have to pass the interview for a place in the university…

Frankly speaking, i’m not good at speaking in fluent english let alone facing the interviewer. Although i’ve experienced it b4 while applying for the scholarship, this time it’s totally different. In JPA interview i feel certain to secure the scholarship because of the reasons that i’m sure you have already know…but for a place in a medical faculty, especially the one that is abroad, the interviewer session would be the most uncomfortable experience in your life. It’s stricter and you have to compete with another applicants from another part of the world.

So, I’ve been quite busy lately doing all things that i think i need to do to ensure that i’ll pass the interview. It include visiting various websites about on how to deal with an interview and also drafting a possible answer for every possible question. I can recall some of the question like why do you choose medicine?, what would you do if you’re not accepted?, also a cliche one like why do you want to become a doctor? …(continue)

Little mosque on the praire…

Alas…
Ever wonder what is the meaning of the title?…well it’s not a title of a poet or a movie or a cynical statement to disrespect Islam. Guess what, it’s the title of a sitcom. Yes, definitely…finally, muslims now have a comedy show that they can call their own…

But, though the genre suggest something or someone is going to be laughed at, it isn’t a comedy merely for entertainment. This half an hour show is fully packed with messages intended to clarify any misunderstandings about islam…The producer,Zarqa Nawaz, tries to tackle as much issues in islam with the difference is that she is using humour method instead of usual conventional preaching.

The story revolves around a muslim community living in a praire area of sasketchawan, canada…erm i’m not sure about this but if you still don’t have any idea what the story look alike, try to recall everybody loves Raymond…yeah, they both are quite similar only that most of the scenes in Raymond are filmed inside his house while the other brought you to every place that has a connection with muslim…yup, including the airport.

Frankly speaking, i would really like to compliment Zarqa for her effort…Apparently, this is the best way to approach those who like to criticize the religion but refuse to spend time watching any forum-like discussion program on TV…additionally, the way he crafted the sitcom and make it look simple and to easy be understand proved to be the reason why the program able to attract 2.1 millions canadian viewers on its premiere…even the most favourite program in CBS could only achieve half of that…

However, there might be someone who disagree with her making some of the religious issues as the laughter stock but in my opinion what is she doing is right…i agree, somehow a muslim could consider it as a deragotary act when his or her religion is filmed to be laughed…but what Zarqa is doing is to convey messages that could help solve the enquiries among the non-muslim in an attractive yet humourous way…i’d really to emphasize here that she is not selling islam instead she is trying to buy their souls…who knows if she succed, for Allah who are the manipulator of all souls, they might be interested to join islam, pronounce the syahadah and become our brothers or sisters…wallahua’alam
