Music

Music…

Finally…I feel quite a relieve.Ever since I last blogged in a lot of idea have been whirling in my head pushing to get out. And at this scenic evening momento I got a chance in term of time to let my writing do the talking.

In this post I’d would to discuss an issue about music. Generally it is an everyone’s favourite especially when this topic touch on their favourite singer or bands. But, what am I trying to bring here is about the quality of the music today. I don’t know whether all of you agree with me or not but what I see is today’s music has transformed into a sort of instrument to promote hate or anger rather than as a soothing melodious rhytm to relax our mind. I don’t like to put any example here as people can get me wrong and also it is not my intention to specific it on any genre of music. No, not at all. Nevertheless the music has lost it touch that it used to be which is to soothen our souls.

Some might argue, given that I failed to provide the proof, that music is promoting hatred and anger…they might even concluded that if what am I saying is true then it should be a world war now because peole are unhappy with each other. Well, I’ll just answer to them, yes. There is world war right now but not in a physical way but rather an emotional fight between people. Lyrics in most of today’s music didn’t help either. It has become a source of inspiration for some violence act in some parts of the world. Some had even lost their souls because of this. And what I like to emphasize here is that this is only my personal opinion and I don’t have any intention to hurt anyone feeling.

However, that doesn’t mean music doesn’t have any benefit at all. Actually music can help us a lot depends on what music we are listening to. For those who want to relieve their tired mind music can help reduce their stress. Listening to it with the melody and the rhythm weaving through our mind will make us forget our problems and troubles which was caused by our daily hassles. Other than that, instead of giving bad influnce, slow and inspirational music could motivate us in our job and as a result increase our productivity which in return fatten our wallet. For students, studies had shown that listening to music also could help strengthen their memory. It was done by relating the memorized subjects with the rhythm of the music listened.

So far music isn’t bad at all. Only that if we choose the wrong kind of music we tend to arrive at the bad part of it. Therefore be wise in determining the type of music you’re going to listen but the most important is never ever forget your daily ‘obligations’.

P/s: give a try to classical music. I bet you’ll love it.
