Why do they are called lecturers…

During my tenure at intec I’ve met a lot of people and without a miss, observing their behaviours as well. I also come into which their attitude also can’t escape my judging eyes.  All this matter are deemed important for me because that’ll give me some option on what approach to take when dealing with certain people. However, there is a group of people that really caught my attention…

Pn Rita- A well recognized person thru out A-level course. She is really a buzy woman hardly to get any time to be with her student. Married with 4 children ( if I’m not mistaken) she however has something that really make his class hardly to miss. Though, she only repeating the verses from her own text but her explanation is enough for my classmate and I to understand whatever she want to teach that day. Sometimes, due to our close relationship with her, we become a reference place to ALMEC student who curious to know what is buzzing around inside the administration…thanks to her also that thru her fast-tracked approach our class always had a spare time either to study other subjects or going back home early.

Mdm Yap- A quite tall figure with distinctive short hair and round face, she is always strict when it come to lesson. This is what make me hard to accept her for the first time but, as it went along I realized that whatever she did is just for our own good sake…a very punctual person, an attitude that ecery student must try to emulate but when it comes into dressing term perhaps none of us will take it as example as the style of 70’s or 80’s still prefer her…one with plenty of good advices and also a working hard person

Pn Radhiah- A talentful lad in statistical field, the one we are looking for when sometimes statistic questions tend to become something outside from this world…she is also a cheerful teacher, never miss to smile. But beware, for she can’t tolerate those who come into her class and did not take it seriously. All in all, she is an approachable lecturer and also a kind of helpful…

Mr. Daljit- Aha, when it comes to the most simple lecturer equivalent to the malay word of ‘sempoi’ nothing can’t beat Mr. Daljit out…a really simple person. For the first time, many students will assume that he didn’t do his job which is teaching English. But many not realized that English is not about learning it is all about practicing. A brief look in his face in each lesson seem suggesting that he is quite uncomfortable with the teaching directive that he has to uphold. Maybe what he wants is that his student just use English extensively in his class regardless confining to syllabus. Hurm…judging from his age and plenty of experience that he might have, maybe he is right…

Pn. Laili- A terrific lecturer, not in term of her menace but according to her wide knowledge in chemistry, a subject in which most student like to avoid from comitting. However, with her approach, slowly we can catch the pace and hey, this subject has become much more interesting…beside she also is a source of inspiration as whenever we drift into the sea of colourful life as a teenager she will save us with a plenty of wise words reminding us that we are here merely to excel and then contribute to the nation…

All in all, there are few spaces and words to describe this group of people. Their contributions are countless and has helped to create a bright future for many young aspirants. I wonder what kind of things that made them really caught my attention…well after all maybe that’s why they are called lecturers…
